The Presidents Cup is a golf competition played between a team of golfers from the US and a team of golfers representing the rest of the world, excluding Europe. Europe and the Unites States play a separate competition called the Ryder Cup. The Presidents Cup is held every two years alternating with the Ryder Cup. Played alternately in the United States and somewhere else in the world, the tournament was first played in 1994. The Presidents Cup is one of the rare occasions when fans can watch the best golfers in the world compete as teammates representing their country. The US has so far won 5 Cups, the International team has won one, and the teams have tied once. The excitement is always palpable and the locations are always stunning.
